Inspired by the series Demon Slayer, this knife features striking black and red blades with white and red handles. It includes a metal safety latch to securely lock the blade in place, both when not in use and when deployed.

Known as a Balisong or Butterfly knife, this folding pocket knife has two handles that counter-rotate around the tang, concealing the blade within the handles when closed. Butterfly knives are particularly useful in situations where it is inconvenient to use both hands to open a knife. Please ensure you check your local laws regarding the possession and import of these knives.

Frequently asked questions

What material is the butterfly knife made from?

The Rengoku Red Nichirin Butterfly Knife is crafted from stainless steel and designed with fiery red and orange accents inspired by Kyojuro Rengoku’s iconic blade in Demon Slayer. It offers durability and an anime-accurate look.

Is the blade sharpened?

No, the blade is blunt and unsharpened. It’s made for safe handling, cosplay, display, and light flipping practice, not for actual cutting or combat.

How long is the knife when fully extended?

The butterfly knife measures approximately 9 inches in length when opened, making it compact, portable, and perfect for display or cosplay use.

Does the knife open automatically?

No, this is a manually operated butterfly knife. It does not include spring-assist or automatic opening features.

Is this modeled after Rengoku’s Nichirin Blade?

Yes, while it's not a full-length sword, this butterfly knife incorporates the flame-themed aesthetic and color palette of Rengoku’s Nichirin Blade, reimagined in a compact, stylish form.

Can I use this knife for cosplay?

Absolutely. It’s a great prop for Flame Hashira cosplay, lightweight and safe for conventions, photoshoots, and anime-themed events.

Is it suitable for butterfly knife training?

Yes, the unsharpened blade makes it beginner-friendly for basic flipping practice and tricks, especially for those who want an anime-themed trainer.

Who is this knife best suited for?

This item is ideal for Demon Slayer fans, Rengoku admirers, anime sword collectors, and anyone looking to own a flashy, flame-inspired butterfly knife.

Is this product considered a toy?

No, it is a collector’s replica intended for older teens and adults. While safe to handle, it’s not a toy for young children.

How should I care for the knife?

Clean the blade and handle with a soft, dry cloth. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the hinge if using for flipping, and store it in a cool, dry place to preserve the finish and functionality.
