The Sword of Protection is the counterpart to He-Man's Sword of Power, carried by Adora, Prince Adam's twin sister. Where his blade is broad and heavy, hers is slimmer and finer, and it carries the detail that matters most: a jewel set into the hilt. That stone is the mechanism. Without it, the words do nothing, and Adora cannot become She-Ra at all.

The words are "For the honor of Grayskull." The sword answers with more than a transformation. Unlike the Sword of Power it can change shape on command, becoming a shield, a lasso, a rope, or a tool as the moment demands, which is what separates a sword of protection from a sword of conquest.
