Sting Sword is a blade bestowed upon Frodo Baggins by his cousin Bilbo, the original Ring bearer. Tasked with the monumental quest to cast the Ring into the fires of Mount Doom, Frodo, along with the chosen Fellowship, embarks on a perilous journey. To aid him in his quest, Bilbo entrusts Sting, a weapon crafted by the Elves of old, to Frodo's care. Bilbo himself wielded Sting during his encounter with Gollum, where he first obtained the Ring.

Sting, the legendary sword from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is an emblem of courage and resilience in the face of adversity. Crafted by the skilled hands of the Elven-smiths of Gondolin, its origins trace back to the First Age of Middle-earth.
Originally designed as a shortsword for the ancient Elven warrior, Sting found its way into the hands of Bilbo Baggins during his unexpected adventure with Thorin Oakenshield's company. Renowned for its ability to detect the presence of Orcs and other malevolent creatures, Sting became an invaluable asset in the fight against the forces of darkness.
Passed down through generations, Sting eventually found its way to Frodo Baggins, who carried it on his quest to destroy the One Ring. With each swing, Sting struck fear into the hearts of Sauron's minions, earning its place as a symbol of hope and defiance in the struggle against evil.

Yes, this replica is forged from solid metal, offering a realistic weight and premium finish. It’s built to reflect the elegant design of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins’ legendary blade from The Lord of the Rings.

How accurate is this replica to the one in the movies?

Extremely accurate. It features the leaf-shaped blade, Elvish runes along the edge, and curved bronze guard—just like the sword seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.

Does Sting come with a sheath or display stand?

Yes, this version includes a custom display stand for showcasing the blade horizontally. A sheath is not included, as Sting is typically displayed unsheathed in collections.

Is the blade sharpened or safe to handle?

No, the blade is unsharpened and designed for display or cosplay. It offers realistic appearance and craftsmanship while being safe to pose with or exhibit.

Is Sting a good choice for cosplay?

Absolutely. Its smaller size, lightweight feel, and movie-accurate design make it perfect for Bilbo or Frodo cosplay, especially for travel-ready hobbit builds.

How heavy is the Sting replica?

It has a moderate, balanced weight—lighter than a full sword but substantial enough to feel authentic and premium in the hand or on display.

Are there Elvish engravings on the blade?

Yes, the blade is etched with the same Elvish runes that appeared in the films, adding a layer of detail that honors its magical origin and cinematic presence.

Is this a dagger or short sword?

It’s technically a dagger but considered a short sword when wielded by hobbits like Frodo or Bilbo. The replica matches the film’s proportions precisely.

Can I pair Sting with other Lord of the Rings weapons?

Yes! Sting pairs beautifully with replicas like Aragorn’s Andúril, Gandalf’s Glamdring, or the One Ring for a full LOTR collector setup.

Why feature Sting as a metal replica?

Sting is one of the most beloved and recognizable weapons in fantasy cinema. This metal version honors its legacy with high-detail craftsmanship—perfect for fans of Middle-earth and collectors who value authenticity and lore.
